I work in construction, just moved into an office space that has 0 ventilation. Everyone here smokes except me, and the secondhand smoke hangs in the office all day. I’m looking for a portable product that I can use in my office to help clean the air from all this smoke. I’m tired of using aerosol products that just mask the smell. PLEASE HELP!!
Don’t look for something to cover up the problem…try to eliminate the problem at the source. First of all, do people actually smoke in the office space where you work, or do they bring the smell back in with them when they come in from outside? If they are smoking inside the office, ask them to go outside, as you do not like to be exposed to second hand smoke. If they refuse, go to your boss. If he doesn’t do anything about it, go to his boss. If he does nothing (I am not sure if you live in the USA or not), contact OSEH. This is a health hazard. By OSEH’s standards, anything harmful to an employees health or well being is not acceptable. Just remember this…you HAVE THE RIGHT not to be exposed to anything harmful to you, this includes radiation, asbestos, toxic vapors…and yes…Cigarette smoke.

I thought in law today you were entitled to a smoke free environment, regards Janet hope this helps x
